The National Capital Region Inventory & Monitoring Network (NCRN I&M) is excited to announce an opening for a Conservation Legacy Science Communication Internship (50-week) position, to start February 2, 2026!
This position helps to provide natural resource management-related support to the parks in the National Capital Region through the development of reports, fact sheets, web content, and other communications materials. The materials created by the Science Communication intern will provide park resource managers with guidance and information that support caretaking of National Park natural resources.
This position includes the opportunity to visit NCR parks and to assist with field operations for forest vegetation and water data collection.
This Conservation Legacy Science Communication Intern position is eligible for a $7,395.00 AmeriCorps Segal Education Award, and for Public Land Corps Hiring Authority upon successful completion.
