Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park (CHOH) is happy to announce that we are currently seeking up to (3) GS-07 Biological Science Technician positions! The positions will open tomorrow 9/27 and will close after we receive 60 applications or within 2 weeks. These positions are funded through IRA as well as Natural Resources Fund Source project funds for our rare, threatened, and endangered plant species propagation project. The positions will be focusing on forest restoration in high priority areas throughout the park and work will include rare species monitoring, propagation, and planting, invasive plant species control, and native plant restoration.
To qualify for the Biological Science Technician position at the GS-07 grade, you must meet the following minimum qualifications by the closing date of this announcement.
